It was founded as Anadolu Porselen Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. on 02.06.1987 in Pendik / Kurtkoy by Gonenc Family. At first, the company was founded to supply the electroporcelain demands of other fitter companies in electricity market. It has taken its place inside the biggest producers of electroporcelain sector with its long term production of quality materials.

Anadolu Porselen Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., in 1995, has entered a new investment by renewing all its machinery. The aim was to produce the first porcelain based pool coating materials in Turkey with SeraPool brand. Pools that were covered with materials of foreign producers until 1995, thereafter were started to be covered with SeraPool. In short time, it had become a wanted brand in pools for accomplishing production in the way of solving every material(Handle, Antislip tile, Glazed Tile and Mosaic), every detail that the sector shows demand for. The quality of porcelain pool coatings are approved with certificates taken from both abroad and TSE (Institute of Turkish Standards).

In 2005, the company has changed its name into SeraPool Porselen San. ve Tic. A.S. Being aware of the importance of differentiation since the very first years it was founded, SeraPool San. ve Tic. A.S. has achieved a first around the world in 2006 by the production of handles and antislip materials with different designs and dimensions.

SeraPool Porselen Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. management has spotted the importance of exportation even in the first years of its foundation and has accomplished numerous country visits. According to 2009 data, 40% of its sales are made to 60 countries. Its target is to be a company with worldwide reputation by 2012.
